It’s a top of the table clash on Saturday as we travel to play Fir Park Corner in what should be a cracker.

To Preview this week’s humongous game we’ve asked Andy Waugh, one of the youngest players in the squad, the questions that others dare to ask.

As one of the youngest guys in the squad are you learning from all the older experienced players?

“Yeah I'm definitely learning from all the older guys. Playing alongside guys who talk to you through the game makes it so much easier.”

Is having big brother Neale in the squad a help?

“It was a big help at the start when I didn't really know the boys and made it easier for me without a doubt. Now I think it helps him both on and off the field... him learning off me on the pitch and getting a lift to the game every week.”

You’ve played various positions; right back, centre back, midfield, which do you prefer?

“Personally I prefer playing right back and feel that is my best position. However with Fraser playing so well I know it will be difficult for me to get minutes there. But I'm happy to play wherever required.”

So far you’ve only scored one goal for the Club, against Hearts last season on Lesser, what do you remember about that?

“To be honest very little. I think I was still steaming during the game and to get a goal and an assist off the back of a two hour sleep on my mates couch I thought it was very productive.”

What are you looking forward to for the rest of the season?

“I'm most looking forward to the fun bus on 4th November. I think that will be a class day. Having said that Saturday will be an exciting game so I'm focusing on that for now.”

Everyone is still waiting for your song on an away bus, are you really going to do a Grease medley with Stockers?

“I'm led to believe that I attempted to sing Three Little Birds on the last fun bus so to answer that I'm looking forward to watching a possible duet with Stockers and Smithy.”
